It’s for the Birds

bird2bird1

I’m trying to keep the feeder filled and the bird table stocked but my little garden birds are throwing DOWN out there in the garden and I’m having a hard time keeping up with a stock of seed and suet balls.

I can’t seem to grow vegetables and I can only grow very hardy plants successfully…but I CAN feed the birds.  They keep me company while I work and the pigeons are becoming very familiar, indeed.  I notice that the pair of them are sitting closer and closer to me as the weeks go by.  Soon we’ll be having tea together on the patio.

  1. Just be sure you aren’t feeding the rats. My next door neighbor was ‘feeding’ the birds, but the minute the sun set the rats closed in on the bird feeder. Aw rats!
