It’s known as “Pancake Day” here in the UK and it is traditional that one serves pancakes with a drizzle of lemon and icing sugar for tea.
But not only did I forget that it was Pancake Day, I forgot it was Tuesday.
And I was very surprised to learn of it.
“Oh really? You’re playing tennis tonight?” I said to AP
“I always play tennis on Tuesday!” he said.
“Oh really? It’s Tuesday?”
Good grief. Am I supposed to remember everything?
No – we are not having pancakes today and, just to set the record straight, I will not make handmade Valentine’s Day cards either.
