I love this cigarette-smoking, wine-drinking deer —
I’m trying my best to keep the holiday spirit going, but it’s been drizzling rain for a few days and the skies are very grey. I have a great desire to read books in bed all day long and then watch TV all evening — and nothing else.
(I haven’t succumbed to this temptation. Yet.)
Rain! A heavy cloud-burst at midnight-by the time I’d stumbled around closing door and windows…it had stopped. But the smell of damp, dust-laid gardens was wonderful! And at 3am I awoke to the sound of gentle,
drippety, steady rain.
Rather sorry for folks in Hants and Wilts and Berks, but thrilled for our firemen!
Happy and Merry to you and yours, Kim. By the way, did you notice my new blog banner!
Hmmm, you probably don’t want to hear about the weather here in Florida then.
We had one of those drizzly, depressing days here this week, however people still came into the yarn shop, your Mom was one of them. She was with a friend and seemed in good spirits, she brightened my day.
Hope you have a very Merry Christmas, Rockyann.
Thank you, Margie. Be sure that my thoughts are with the whole Churchill family. My mom is doing a lot of knitting these days so you just might see more of her in your shop.
