I have introduced Thanksgiving to my British friends and let-me-tell-you…it is a BIG hit now. We are gathering tonight at my house for an incredible meal of turkey with all the trimmings. Well, I hope it’s an incredible meal. If it isn’t, then I will just say what I always say to my guests when a meal flops: “It’s not about the food, it’s about the fellowship.”
Nobody argues with that.

Even if you screw up the turkey, just explain that it’s part of the tradition. You get to mess it up at least once in your life. We all have.
Well – as I told you the other day, my turkey is fool-proof. But timing is everything with these big meals and sometimes I’m not so good with that.
