I swear this is the last of the Jubilee posts. But I just had to share our Sunday outing with you so that you can see how creative and community-minded some of our English villages are.
The Scarecrow Trail was put together in the town of Sonning which is a small village just north of us. Members of the community decorated their houses and gardens with (mostly) Jubilee themed scarecrows — or effigies. Guests were given maps and were encouraged to walk through the town and the surrounding environment to see all the imaginative and fun displays.
Love the creativity — especially the bonny princes. Who does the pooch belong to? Kate likes Rapunzel.
