(Statue of Krishna)

I have ambivalent feelings about New Year’s. Some people make resolutions and some people choose a word for the year. I have no luck maintaining resolutions and I would forget my word within about two weeks so I won’t even pretend to have expectations for 2012. I wish for all of us health and peace and I hope that, day by day, we all live in the moment and appreciate those moments as they arrive.

AP and I are having a quiet day today. I’ve taken the Christmas decorations down and put them away for another year. There’s a gray drizzle outside our window and so there’s really nothing to do except make a cup of tea and settle in with a good book.
