For the past few Christmases I’ve put together a slideshow of photos that I took throughout the year. I wasn’t going to do it again this year but then I visited Ornamental the other day and found this old Joni Mitchell song and decided to use it for my 2011 review. Some of the photos are fuzzy but that’s what happened when I converted them to a web streaming format.

Beautiful. I cried. Well, I listen to this song every year and cry, but Pearl did me in. Who is singing it? Sometimes it sounds like Bruce, but how could he sing one of my favorite songs and i not know about it?! Then at other times, it didn’t sound like him. Merry Christmas!
It was Robert Downey Jr.!! And yes… the combination of the song AND the Pearl segment moves me to tears too. But I’m still crying about Pearl every time I see a photo of her or find a clump of white hair. Which I’m still finding.
