10:55 A.M. in September

…is the exact time that the sunbeams left the dining room window.

Pearl got down and ran to the living room window — but there were no sunbeams to be found. There is an eclipse of sorts, when the sun hides around the side of the house with no windows and both rooms are darkened.

AP was working in the dining room, writing intensely, when Pearl plopped herself in front of him and meowed about four times. Then she sauntered off,  ejecting white fur as she walked away.

The sunbeams are back now.
