August Break Photo 26 – Two Elderly Cats
The sudden and violent sneezing — sometimes three sneezes in a row — tells me that my ginger cat, Pumpkin, has caught Pearl’s URI. We’re off to the vet in about 20 minutes for an injection.
Caring for these little creatures is becoming very poignant as they are both 18 years old with various old-age health problems. We’re at that point where we discuss “when will we know…” quite a bit as it’s difficult to gauge their quality of life. At the moment, they are eating and sleeping and coming to us for some affection every day and so we keep them as comfortable as we can and we hold our breath.
