Such a feeling of doom has come over me. It started with the BP oil spill — continued with a Tory victory here in the UK — and rolls along with what looks like another financial meltdown here in Europe.
Today one of my colleagues, an avid Tory, said to me (a Lib Dem supporter), “well, it looks like we BOTH won!”
