The summer solstice was yesterday but I did nothing to mark it except, perhaps, stay up a wee bit later than usual. I watched something very trashy on TV and tried to talk Pickles into cuddling with me but she only wanted her space at the foot of the bed.
My garden isn’t as lovely as this garden room but this is a look that I would someday like to achieve on my patio. I love the idea of using inside furniture on the outside and creating a real living space in a garden.
This week Andy and I are off to Nancy, France and I’m so looking forward to the escape out of England… a French city… fine dining… and lovely time away with my husband. (Good shopping would be a real plus, too!)
